Ordering and Availability
Please allow at least 3 days’ notice for baked goods and 7 days for custom cakes. More detailed designs may require additional time. Availability is limited, so ordering early is encouraged. Any kind of modification to a plain cake requires a custom order so we can make sure it lives up to your expectations!
For custom cake orders, please email us with the kind of cake you want off of the site, inspiration photos, what the writing should be (if any), and date the cake is needed by.
Your order is confirmed once we’ve accepted the details and received the required payment. An inquiry does not reserve a date.
Rush requests may be accommodated depending on availability. Any rush fee will be shared before you book.
Payments
Baked goods and standard cakes require full payment when ordering.
Custom cakes require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due 7 days before pickup or delivery. Orders placed within 7 days require full payment at booking.
All prices and any additional charges will be confirmed before payment.
Changes to Your Order
Please request changes to flavors, quantities, designs, or fulfillment details as early as possible.
Changes must be confirmed by Floured and may affect pricing. We cannot guarantee changes within 72 hours of fulfillment, or within 7 days for custom cakes.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
For standard orders, cancellations received at least 72 hours before fulfillment qualify for a full refund. For later cancellations, refunds depend on preparation already completed and costs incurred.
For custom cakes, cancellations received at least 7 days before fulfillment qualify for a refund less design work completed and nonrecoverable supplies purchased specifically for your order. These deductions will be explained. Later cancellations may receive a partial refund depending on work and costs already committed.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may involve additional costs if preparation has begun.
If Floured must cancel and we cannot agree on an alternative, you will receive a full refund.
Pickup
Pickup is by appointment only. Pickup instructions and the address will be provided after confirmation.
Please arrive during your agreed pickup window and contact us promptly if you’re running late. We may need to arrange another available time.
Missed pickups do not automatically qualify for a refund. We’ll contact you to discuss whether a later pickup is possible.
Delivery is available on orders over $100 and within a certain radius.
Custom Designs
Reference images help communicate your vision, but every Floured cake is handmade. Colors, finishes, and decorative details may vary slightly, and exact replicas are not guaranteed.
Your confirmed order will describe the agreed size, flavor, design, and any special details. Significant substitutions will be discussed with you before completion.
Custom Designs
Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles common allergens. Shared equipment and preparation areas mean cross-contact is possible.
Please tell us about allergies before ordering. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free product or environment. Ingredient information is available upon request, and dietary modifications must be confirmed before booking.
Custom Designs
Keep cakes upright on a flat, secure surface in a cool vehicle. Avoid placing them on a sloped seat, holding them on your lap, or leaving them in a parked car.
Each order will include appropriate storage and serving instructions. Please follow those instructions to maintain quality.
Damage caused by transport, handling, or storage after pickup is generally outside our control, but contact us promptly if you need help.
Order Concerns
Please check your order when you receive it. If something is incorrect or arrives damaged, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within the first 24 hours after pickup, with your order details and clear photos.
We’ll review the concern and arrange an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, partial refund, or full refund. Please keep the product and packaging where practical until we respond.
Photos and Privacy
We may photograph our work for our website or social media. Please let us know before fulfillment if you would prefer that your order not be shared.
We will not publish your address, contact information, or private order messages.
